people will pursue what they think is ideal with free 1k

but most people will not go for what is objectively ideal

my ideal actually happens to be a job, my ultimate plan

but it is also very much so my passion that i want to turn into a job

creating a fictional franchise

like star wars or lord of the rings

if i get 1k per month why bother with a job

exactly, people find meaning in what they want to do, not by simply working

but more importantly

country's unemployment goes up, GDP drops down

people find meaning in their families

men do not work horrible jobs every day because they like to work (normally, some genuinely do)

they do it to take care of their families

because their family is what gives them meaning

people choose whether or not their job defines them, and that is very important to consider

people do not always gain meaning out of the work they do, as yang seems to believe

for MANY people it is simply a means to an end

and free money is an outlet for that end

its not because men like to live dangerously that they pursue higher risk higher paying jobs like industrial fishing and oil rigging, but because they're willing to put their life on the line so their families are comfortable at home
