Tbh I like bullpups. The x95 and tavor really got me interested in weapon r&d and machining. Hoping to go back to college for cnc after the summer

My biggest complaint about the ar is how unwieldy it is even in an m4 configuration. I'm a big guy but I dont like the collapse stock

I know nothing about guns except they go shooty shooty boom boom

I dont even own one atm due to my living situation but after military i made it a point to learn and keep my proficiency up when ever I can

I hate renting range guns ( had a 5.56 start tumbling right out of the barrel and strike the target sideways.) But it's better then nothing

stopping power doesn't really come with handguns

as far as handguns go you're best off going into a store and discussing it with someone

I would really recommend just taking a basic weapons course. Most ranges offer them, that is a good place to start. The one I took as a kid let you shoot several different guns, rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Just to let you get an idea of what it was all about.
