thats where we differ I suppose, I dont think that negates anything. I just think in his infinite wisdom the Lord instituted something like evolution that helped us adapt to an every changing world. I'm a Baptist because that is what I grew up in and what church I like that is in the South.

My doctrinal standpoints put me at odds with both Protestants and Catholics though.

Raised and still heavily devout Catholic, here

I'm at odds with Catholics because I do not believe in Mary as the Queen of Heaven and a co-redeemer, and with the Pope being infallable and his word being equal to God

I do not agree with Protestants on issues of church function and evangelism. Because too many protestants aren't going the distance like the Catholics and there zealousness is very lacking.
