They hardly saying shit dude

2018-12-08 06:52:03 UTC

Certainly no one will doubt that

2018-12-08 06:52:29 UTC

They’ll say, thanks for trinity Mueller, we 100% believe you

2018-12-08 06:52:38 UTC

trying*

2018-12-08 06:52:42 UTC

Well I would assume at that point even more damnjng evidence will be produced related to just russia efforts

2018-12-08 06:52:42 UTC

Doubt it

2018-12-08 06:52:59 UTC

How they feel about it is irrelevant. What matters is their faith in the government and the institutions.

2018-12-08 06:53:22 UTC

Are you saying that in terms of their POV?

2018-12-08 06:53:32 UTC

Or that’s how things should be for all?

2018-12-08 06:53:51 UTC

Im saying that from the view point of the government trying to keep the people on board with democracy

2018-12-08 06:54:28 UTC

How they feel about the outcome of the investigation does not matter. What matters is that the government has shown they are willing to police themselves no matter who is accused of a crime.

2018-12-08 06:55:03 UTC

This will not always be the case, but it is a very public example which will remain in people's minds for decades after it is over.

2018-12-08 06:55:26 UTC

It’s only happening because it’s allowed to happen

2018-12-08 06:56:00 UTC

I'm not following you Hultin

2018-12-08 06:56:04 UTC

Hulton

2018-12-08 06:56:18 UTC

What do you mean ?

2018-12-08 06:56:46 UTC

The way you’re wording that is as if government is a person that is saving its reputation and it’s auditing itself to save face

2018-12-08 06:57:02 UTC

It comes off like a script in a sitcom

2018-12-08 06:57:25 UTC

Like the Netflix show Designated Survivor

2018-12-08 06:58:19 UTC

Perhaps I’m misunderstanding the context though

2018-12-08 06:58:26 UTC

The government is composed of multiple branches and departments , that are intended to check one another. It's been constructed to by any imaginable situation , to not have the privelage of investigating itaelf

2018-12-08 06:58:58 UTC

If you think of the government as one person then yes that is correct

2018-12-08 06:59:19 UTC

I don’t think of the government that way

2018-12-08 06:59:24 UTC

Dude

2018-12-08 06:59:32 UTC

That’s just how I interpreted what you wrote

2018-12-08 06:59:45 UTC

Think of the instiution of the government as a person

2018-12-08 06:59:49 UTC

That's the way our government is, 5th graders know that

2018-12-08 06:59:52 UTC

No the government itself, but rather its public image

2018-12-08 07:00:49 UTC

So the Mueller investigation is an attempt to save the Governments reputation?

2018-12-08 07:01:07 UTC

its a side effect, not the intent

2018-12-08 07:01:49 UTC

The intent behind muller is to go as far as possible to find all the examples of russian collusion

2018-12-08 07:02:35 UTC

This will have the effect of saving the government's public image by extention, but if the goal was to save face theyd do everything behind closed doors and quietly remove the people they indicted

2018-12-08 07:02:37 UTC

From 2016 forward or over time because this has been happening for decades in terms of Russian interference

2018-12-08 07:03:44 UTC

I suspect so and I suspect that the CIA has done the same to a great many other countries

2018-12-08 07:04:00 UTC

However, public perception makes this an exception rather than the rule

2018-12-08 07:04:37 UTC

A large number of things have come together to form the storm which is the russian collusion theory, which continues to cloud the trump administration

2018-12-08 07:06:00 UTC

We could sit here until we die talking about the causes of such a storm, but suffice to say the election of trump shattered many people's worldview and destroyed their faith in a great many insitutions

2018-12-08 07:06:20 UTC

You don’t think the Mueller investigation is misleading?

2018-12-08 07:06:28 UTC

Misleading how?

2018-12-08 07:06:40 UTC

Everything you just described

2018-12-08 07:06:42 UTC

Come on, man. Decades? To what extent? Exfiltrating a political parties emails, ŕeleasing them strategically, having ducking operatives in our country stealing identities to try bank accounts to buy political adveristnebts , creating imposter political party social media accounts which were diasimjnated by authentic political party accounts unwittingly EVERYDAY during the campaign
