A lot of Muslims, even higher ups in Isis, Al qaeda etc have advanced degrees, including engineering, medicine etc. You can get a green card that way.

American isn't a racial identity, you have to feel it in your heart and accept our values to really be considered American.

The Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Jews, Buddhists all are American. We have churches/temples/synagogues for all of them in my city.

I can go into how American is a nationality and how a nation in itself is tied deeply to ethnicity or in American case, race considering it was a pan-european project but that's besides the point
