I've lost 5 friends

including a very close one.

I never "lost" friends to political opinions. I made my intentions clear and I either shoved them out myself or they simply refused to challenge me and they removed their selves from my presence.

Most were college friends. There was a lot onf "I'm shocked" or "I'm so disappointed" or my favorite "I didn't realize you were such a bigot"

I'm not called that. I'm usually called "soulless," "cold," "unfeeling," and "grim."

Though I have of course been called racist a few times

soulless. that's one I've been called for hating the illegals coming to Canada from the US

My own parents have called me cold hearted and uncaring.

@Diehydra I got blocked by a guy saying he's not gonna read my racist comment even though I'm brown l0l (I'm saying I'm brown because he's one of the people who thinks non-whites cannot be racist).

But yeah, that feeling sucks when friends choose politics over friendship.

Hopefully I have liberals and social democrats as friends who have never been so irrational.

I have a strict policy with friends. If they are unable to meet my standards of discipline, professionalism and my views in politics and religion I have no use of them.

Yeah that creates an " ecochamber" but it is better than having arguments and I enjoy the uniformity

I can relate to an extent. I wasn't as authoritarian years back as I am now. I used to be able to tolerate, now I just call the pot black when I see it
