The churches are being consistent with Christ's teachings. On the question of "what would Jesus do", His actions are pretty clear in the New Testament.

I can agree with all those sentiments. I'm still a bit worried about legal immigration, but I have absolutely no issue with legal immigration philosophically. I have coworkers in that category, and I'm glad they're in the country. If anything, foreigners coming to america know firsthand how blessed this nation is. Look at all these ANTIFA activists.
