He was anti-Fascist, not pro-Communist, and his experiences there made him even more anti-Communist. The mainline Communists accused his faction (Workers' Party of Marxist Unification) of collaborating with the fascists and portrayed him and his comrades as fascists themselves.
Accused them of Trotskyism also
