Well a lot of the later games diverge from being real survival horror. More like action games to me

They could go more horror in all of them though

Resident Evil is fixed camera angles, jumpscares, ink ribbons, not enough ammo, etc

It proved that fixed camera arent needed

Shame they rushed it and the scenarios dont mesh well

I want to pick it up at some point.

But like outside of Chris campaign in 6 almost all of it could be done survival horror style

Though 4 and 5 have some action moments too they are nowhere near as bad.
