Don't care what people say. End of Watch is a great movie. I let the unrealism slide.

Adam-12 is so old they don't have body armor and they still call people Negro without being racist

2019-04-05 23:30:40 UTC

But it's probably the best cop show

2019-04-05 23:31:02 UTC

In COPS and Live PD they tend to skip uninteresting and boring shit

2019-04-05 23:32:23 UTC

cool

2019-04-05 23:32:29 UTC

will watch it

2019-04-05 23:32:59 UTC

Southland is also a really good show about cops. Lots of great actors and semi realistic.

"Community on the Beat" is the most accurate of a Chinese cop, and really is close to what we do also except we don't tend to mediate divorces etc

Couple on the San Andreas proper. The Parkfield area has been known to periodically snap a bit every couple decades, each time with the possibility of setting off a chain reaction.

Kill em all

2019-04-06 00:01:47 UTC

Chain reaction is of course the rest of the 350 mile stretch releasing the energy of several megaton bombs in just a couple minutes.

2019-04-06 00:11:37 UTC

If that doesn't make you believe in God then I don't know what will

2019-04-06 00:16:42 UTC

I mean His will is perfect and all but srsly what's the holdup

2019-04-06 00:17:57 UTC

have there been any new quakes?

2019-04-06 00:25:07 UTC

I've heard nothing

2019-04-06 00:25:50 UTC

@TheKekscernist He's waiting for all the right wingers to move out

2019-04-06 00:26:00 UTC

Leaving Sodom and Gomorah, don't look back

2019-04-06 00:39:38 UTC

No big ones yet, just a few small ones on the main faultline.

2019-04-06 00:45:13 UTC

yeah. I got a friend in cali and he is saying that so far nothing is out of the ordinary for this time of year.

No offence but personally doubt anything will happen. largely because I've heard stories of "The Big One" all my life. we'll see.

if you're right then your right.

2019-04-06 01:57:57 UTC

wow. on average the California area has over 10,000 earthquakes a year

2019-04-06 01:58:01 UTC

that's nuts

2019-04-06 02:00:00 UTC

Yeah man. They’re usually pretty weak. Just enough to notice but not damage.

2019-04-06 02:00:59 UTC

That's nuts. There's like 1 in Ontario a year at most. I've never felt one myself

2019-04-06 02:06:46 UTC

I’ve felt 2. There’s been 3-4 that I should have felt.

2019-04-06 02:07:03 UTC

Yeah most of them are really tiny, about once a week they get a one thats felt in a small area

2019-04-06 02:07:15 UTC

The first one was the DC or Virginia one that happened in like 2014

2019-04-06 02:07:20 UTC

2011

2019-04-06 02:07:29 UTC

👍🏻

2019-04-06 02:07:48 UTC

I was watching TV in my parents’ basement. Heard a deep rolling bass sound.

2019-04-06 02:07:59 UTC

I have only felt one and that was the 6.0 in the Gulf in 06

2019-04-06 02:08:31 UTC

Then the sofa shook. I thought I was having a muscle spasm. Then I looked around and saw some pictures hanging on the wall were swaying.

2019-04-06 02:08:53 UTC

Oh wow. Close enough for the 6?

2019-04-06 02:09:19 UTC

That DC one was only like a 1-2 by the time it reached my area.

2019-04-06 02:09:35 UTC

Was woken up by a weird sensation in the house then went back to sleep not knowing what it was as I was young

2019-04-06 02:09:46 UTC

Ah ok

2019-04-06 02:11:07 UTC

I lived in Sacramento for 6 months in 2005 and felt nothing
