My ancestors were neither schismatics nor heretics
You could never know that 😛
It's easy to know
The west keeps detailed church records
wut
really?
Yes
Until the last century, the church was the keeper of record for everything
Birth certificate = Certificate of baptism
Marriage and death was kept by the church too
It's how we know the English didn't become pedophiles until the 16th century
I see
A lot of older folks do genealogy research here
And if you go to get a driver license you can use baptism certificate as one of the documents
Stop, or I'll say stop again!
Thats neat @Deleted User
I thought you were born a protestant @Deleted User
@wwezombiegod what is pan man?
God bless his soul
@Thornberry I was but the True Faith was banned in the Colonies so that's why we were all raised this way. Except my mom's family who are somewhat recent immigrants.

Except for Maryland, the only colony respecting the Faith
Georgia for instance was founded with religious liberty for all except "Papists" as its founding documents state
And besides I can't have a king who isn't even a legitimate king

A king does not become so by his own proclamation but only by virtue of established law. Without the power of the throne no man has the authority to pass a law allowing himself to be king. Also all Christians are bound by the commandments of the Bible which says temporal authority comes from God. Declaring that power to come from Parliament usurps God and casts aside the divine rights of kings, elevating Parliament to the divine position. So claiming kingship granted by Parliament is impossible because Parliament does not have the divine power to grant it in the first place. At the end of the day this means Henry the Fatass was not king.
And I did not need a loicense to type that.
@Deleted User Your lack of loicense proves that you aren't British at least
