it's just like saying that there's more intelligent men than women. Which is true, given that women have less variance on IQ. (of course, that also means there's more dumb men than women too)

I would say that about 15% are "stupid", i.e. more than one standard deviation below mean.

Usually the G factor in the IQ is very predictive, to about the same degree for the skills we know it predicts.

So, it is rare to see that two people that both have about the same IQ score very differently on the language and/or math portion of the test.

It does happen, though, that the distribution is a bit different, so the sub scores differ.

So, maybe the skill distribution is a bit different in rare cases, but in general it applies
