with socialised healthcare you pretty much have to threaten the doctors with jail, firing squad and satan to get properly treated.

Most private medical doctors here will put you on a payment plan.

With VA patients, their insurance jerks them around and tries its hardest to not pay for anything.

That’s what my wife deals with for work. If someone has VA insurance and insurance from a job outside the military, the insurance companies go back and forth saying the other guy had to pay.

Same for VA and Medicare.
