Bad to listen to a couple of 23yo or so Ivy league educated engineers complain they have to work 12hrs yesterday. Bitches I work 12hr every day plus a 35-40 minute commute each way while the company pays you assholes to live close to work

They're also salary. No one is making them do it

As a salaried employee myself... yes people do make us stay and work overtime. Not sure about those guys specifically, but I’m required to get my tasks done no matter what. So if me working an extra 10 hours a week to get some drawings out is necessary, I have to do it.

This is one day. All year none of them have worked passed their 6-230 shift

They aren't given deadlines because their bosses are 26-28yo ivy league engineers who don't want to hurt feelz or put too much pressure on their underlings. Literally have no idea how the real world works and go to move diversity and inclusion meetings and summits than actual work and moving the company forward.

I’m in contract furniture. Some weeks I have next to nothing. Then the sales representatives all make a sale and I have dozens of drawings to do in less than a week.

All of our equipment is older than the oldest employee in the factory
