you'll just get stained

2018-11-07 12:39:59 UTC

If the first amendment if extended to the internet that might fix it?

2018-11-07 12:40:04 UTC

this kinda makes me think we need some platforms that are more underground

2018-11-07 12:40:07 UTC

For the US anyway

2018-11-07 12:40:12 UTC

and to become bigger gradually

2018-11-07 12:40:23 UTC

to the point of being too big to shutdown at that point

2018-11-07 12:40:36 UTC

They will all be called nazi sites/groups if they are found out though @.B

2018-11-07 12:40:52 UTC

they can't do it if they have millions of users

2018-11-07 12:40:58 UTC

the narrative doesn't stand

2018-11-07 12:41:52 UTC

I'm a dev, I'm tempted to start one tbh

2018-11-07 12:42:11 UTC

A streaming site? or something else?

2018-11-07 12:42:58 UTC

probably without streaming at first. There's no way to create a streaming site that is profitable

2018-11-07 12:43:00 UTC

nowadays at least

2018-11-07 12:43:00 UTC

@Dr.Wol What does Gab mean?

2018-11-07 12:48:47 UTC

That's the problem with being open to anyone, yiu will end full of weirdos that no one else wants. Just ask the furries :D

> There's no way to create a streaming site that is profitable
nowadays at least

bittorrent had a peer to peer live streaming protocol that they scuttled when they failed to raise money
that p2p approach would reduce serving costs to the point that a streaming site could work

2018-11-07 13:17:30 UTC

( and such a protocol could be re-created )

2018-11-07 13:22:19 UTC

the issue with a streaming service like that is you need actual users to share, so a less popular video might be very slow while popular videos might be super fast

2018-11-07 13:23:01 UTC

however you could use a server to make up for that offset

2018-11-07 13:23:14 UTC

therefore having the benifits of both

2018-11-07 13:25:49 UTC

@paradigm the problem is that most normies don't want the tradeoff that come with a P2P streaming service

2018-11-07 13:25:59 UTC

and I mean a FULL P2P system

2018-11-07 13:26:03 UTC

not what bitchute does

2018-11-07 13:26:09 UTC

so essentially having it like, If video speed is under the required amount for that quality setting then use the server to make up for it, if the video passes the requirement then use P2P

2018-11-07 13:26:48 UTC

the problem is that users can easily be hostile to it

2018-11-07 13:27:06 UTC

what do you mean by "hostile"?

2018-11-07 13:27:11 UTC

in this context

2018-11-07 13:27:29 UTC

we are Screwed Blued and Tattooed

2018-11-07 13:28:02 UTC

without going too much into detail. But if a site like that became popular, an addon that blocks seeding would be enough to ruin it

2018-11-07 13:28:23 UTC

Eww 🤢 I just saw a Muslim woman got elected

2018-11-07 13:28:24 UTC

I did some projects in Bittorrent

2018-11-07 13:28:34 UTC

it is really easy to exploit it

2018-11-07 13:28:36 UTC

Ilhan Omar

2018-11-07 13:28:44 UTC

I assume bitchute leverages webtorrent with the webseed BEP in the torrents
no?

2018-11-07 13:28:47 UTC

Rashida Tlaib

2018-11-07 13:28:59 UTC

what would block seeding @.B

2018-11-07 13:29:04 UTC

@paradigm they need to store every video on their side

2018-11-07 13:29:36 UTC

you just need to block uploading on webtorrent

2018-11-07 13:29:37 UTC

America proud to embrace the Muslims
