In fact the term use by the soviets for the police was "Militia" not Police Officers
The PRC's stand in for a national police force is the "People's Armed Police."
Again an agency of the Chinese Communist Party, not the PRC state
everything is cyclical i guess, especially in politics
there's nothing worse than centrists with no values and that change their opinion on everything based on "common sense" and context
I see it as more of a 3D grid. On x axis authoritarian vs libertarian and on y axis humanist vs classical moralist and on the z axis tribal vs non-tribal
Extreme centrist here, principles are the foundation of my defining belief: neutrality in all things
all is a very strong work i know, but i feel it is justified in this situation
Neutrality is the absence of principles (strongly held beliefs)
There are two types of centrists: Those who consider themselves balanced and those who claim to be neutral. The former group believe their principles are balanced between two extremes and the neutral group lack principles to begin with. There is actually no way to be neutral if you are a centrist. You will always be left of one group and right of another.
The problem with "balanced" is that they call everything "extreme", while not understanding any of those said "extremes"
Don't get me wrong though, there's a lot of people that end on the center because they have some values from the left and right. But most that claim themselves to be "balanced" or "neutral" don't hold any values
Radical alt-centrists rise up
Ben makes some hyperbolic statements here I would like to get Europeans take on his broader points though

mate...
thats 53 minutes
at least point to a short part of it
otherwise.. see ya in 1 hour
I do, I skip the ads π
I'm 18mins in, I have no idea what statements you think are wrong
the nationalism talk is pretty basic, if you don't care about your country, you won't have a country for long
That's my view also but wantated to hear out anyone that could make a case for Macrons line of thinking on the issue
has there ever been a study that compared likelihood of nationalist sentiment to income? there has to be a positive correlation between being a globalist and being higher on the class spectrum.
@anonymous I have no idea what Macron means. This is the problem when people try to redefine words however they please
@Atkins atleast from an American perspective it seems like globalist ideology comes from academic left and and corporate right both groups are very affluent
here we go
^ would make it illegal to manufacture your own firearm
unless you obtain a serial number from a licensed dealer
which is considered a commercial firearm transfer
the plain reading of that also makes blocks of metal illegal
That is a fundimental attack on military research
> (1) A firearm receiver casting or firearm receiver blank or unfinished handgun frame thatβ
>(A) at the point of sale does not meet the definition of a firearm in section 921(a) of title 18, United States Code; and
>(B) after purchase by a consumer, can be completed by the consumer to the point at which such casting or blank functions as a firearm frame or receiver for a semiautomatic assault weapon or machinegun or the frame of a handgun.
given 3d printing and CNC tech....
that means any chunk of metal, or any 3d printable plastic
you can literally print a "firearm frame or receiver" from raw plastic stock
... or machine it from aluminum stock
All the great inovations in firearms came out of cranks who started out in their own shed
without some clarification, this is an attack on both additive manufacture and small-shop machining
