because the Industry and other jobs they had got destroyed because of the Commie way and with them having the Same Deutsche Mark as we with the same worth, they couldn't change anything about that and most of the East Companies went under, many lost their Jobs.
Its the centralization shit. It doesn't work. The higher you go up the Gouvernment ladder, the worse it gets.
It works well at the lowest levels (like your Comune or however you call that), but the state is already pretty fucked, don't talk about the Federal shit.
Germany and US of A work kinda similar, though the states in the US are way more independant than in Germany (though they also are kinda).
And we don't have the electoral College, sadly.
