Some books should be burned.

2019-02-21 04:19:42 UTC

ahh

2019-02-21 04:19:47 UTC

Communist Manifesto, one of the very few books that should be burned.

2019-02-21 04:19:52 UTC

Hitler did nothing wrong, ex ante.

2019-02-21 04:23:31 UTC

The commie manifesto is one of the best arguments against communism tho.

2019-02-21 05:07:00 UTC

Nah, that would be Marxist value formation theory.

2019-02-21 05:07:15 UTC

Oh, you said "one of". That is certainly true.

2019-02-21 05:09:58 UTC

Another person who might be an illegal alien trys to kill a female police officer

2019-02-21 05:10:01 UTC

@halfthink lmao that's true about the communist manifesto, i never understood the "it sounds good on paper", no it fucking doesn't

2019-02-21 05:10:11 UTC

and nobody cares it seems

2019-02-21 06:56:37 UTC

are people still arguing about global warming?

2019-02-21 06:58:32 UTC

its quite weird that I can understand anti-vax people, etc if they were to write an article about why you should be anti-vax the headline would be "THE GOVERNMENT IS FORCING YOU TO LET THEM INJECT POLIO INTO YOUR CHILD" which, while technically correct, is like saying that hydric acid has been found in new york plumbing

2019-02-21 06:59:48 UTC

They are radicals who have so much faith in this headline that they will dismiss the reasons why it is important for your child to be able to be immune to these diseases

2019-02-21 07:03:11 UTC

I would say that they are libertarian radicals, although not as radical as the flat earthers

2019-02-21 07:03:50 UTC

its easier to dismiss data when you distrust the entire government, which to some extend we do

2019-02-21 07:11:57 UTC

People are actually advocating for the banning of anti-vaxxers

2019-02-21 07:19:12 UTC

banning of them?

2019-02-21 07:19:25 UTC

umm what does that mean? sending them to gulags?

2019-02-21 07:19:38 UTC

deporting them?

No, I think it just means taking the choice out of the hands of the parents

2019-02-21 07:21:54 UTC

I think that that is a bad idea

2019-02-21 07:22:07 UTC

but the parents DO need to be more educated somehow

2019-02-21 07:22:18 UTC

its just a difficult problem

I was thinking make vaccinations a In-School thing and if parents want to opt out they have to come for a briefing class on vaccinations

I think that works fine?

2019-02-21 07:24:42 UTC

yeah, as long as the number of anti-vaxxers is low enough

2019-02-21 07:24:53 UTC

it won't be too much of a problem

2019-02-21 07:45:59 UTC

if only you knew..

2019-02-21 07:46:10 UTC

😔

Oh, I've been promoted and has image posting right now...

2019-02-21 11:57:55 UTC

It's funny ... because the proponents of climate change also say that science doesn't function as a democracy. That what is published in peer-reviewed papers need to be taken seriously. Lol.

2019-02-21 12:07:19 UTC

Why wouldn't we tackle global dimming instead of global warming? Making Earth Shiny Again would help with global warming as well, because light radiation of Sun is reflected back to space before it turns to infrared wavelengths (which are prevented from exiting Earth by CO2). Cover your house in tinfoil.

2019-02-21 12:07:45 UTC

It will also reduce air conditioning costs and CO2 from it's use.

2019-02-21 12:33:41 UTC

Tinfoil wouldn't withstand heavy rain, even if weren't gonna tear it apart just to stop the noise it would make (during rains)
Why do people who want to reduce CO2 ever suggest anything other than planting trees?
Trees have been keeping CO2 levels down for many thousands of years, why would we trust the government to come up with something new

2019-02-21 12:35:06 UTC

I wasn't entirely serious.

2019-02-21 12:37:44 UTC

You could manage the climate and increase the amount of cloud cover (especially over the oceans and where shade is preferred).

2019-02-21 12:49:53 UTC

I know that's still experimental, but it's just that people don't want to talk about it.

2019-02-21 12:49:54 UTC

There is a country that actually has negative carbin emissions. They think it might have to do with their constitution saying 60% of the country needs to be forest or something like that.
