i know this sounds crazy but i remember when playing the Enderal Mod for Skyrim one of the NPCs said something along the lines of "if your religion teaches you to be kind to eachother but at the same time encourage malevolent behavior towards non believers then your beliefs are flawed and not worth following" or something like that its been awhile so i dont remember exactly
Michael eric dyson is word salad
And you know it does for sure because the authors come out later and say "holy shit I was a pretentious asshole"
Yes
Dyson was just WOW
Though he swaps between that and raw pretentious rambling
Friedrich Nietzsche is someone JBP references all the time, and I tried reading Beyond Good and Evil, and just couldn't even.
Like it's a dense fucking book.
You don't need 30 words to say "but racism is real"
I still haven't read BG&E
I got that book recently
Just Zarathustra 2x
I hear he makes a lot of references to other philosophers
But Zarathustra is fucking gold
and Marcus Aruelius meditations
best emp
have the commie manifesto too
know your enemy
lel
Dont read anything from julius ceasar, it just about grain
Like "Of all evil I deem you capable: Therefore I want good from you. Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws"
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn That was the other guy JBP mentions a lot.
Commie Manifesto is the most boring shit I've ever read
I have the Gulag Archipelago. Its a tough read
And The Gulag Archipelago
Yeah
Blackpill shit
I haven't tried yet.
and some of Marx's manuscripts and excerpts from Capital in an old college book that compiled a bunch of political philosophers
It's just so absurd and evil
Like it's comically evil, but it's real
I got Wealth of Nations and the Communist Manifesto in the same purchase lel
Wew
two vaaastly different beliefs
And then War and Peace.
Is another one.
Like all of the shit that he references from takes just a lot of effort man.
I did actually pick some Dostoyevsky up
got two copies of The Prince
The Prince is baller
But you don't need to read Tolstoy or Dostoyevsky to understand Peterson
