yeeeeah idk after i watched FMA brotherhood i went and rewatched teh original anime and was like noeep
GitS, Texhnolyse, Ergo Proxy, Basilisk, Darker than black (only the first), Baccano!, Read or die, Monster, Sword of a stranger, Den-noh coil
These are my all-time-favourites
i'm told the best way to watch FMA is to watch several episodes of the original and then switch to brotherhood but go back to like ep 3 or something
lol
Oh and "Lovely complex"
My guilty pleasure
that's basically a full list of all the classic dark/dystopian anime
AHH yeah well the first like 20 eps of the original are condesnsed into the first like 3 eps (after the first two part eps)
What gets me even in good anime are the fillers
FFS make it 9 episodes, just no fillers
LOOL yeah i was never able to do that shit in naruto
Anime has a huge problem where most of it is just not that good.
Code Geass
https://anilist.co/anime/13125 i'd recommend this one uksio
Never finished Naruto nor Bleach
The decline of the import filter kinda hurt western perceptions, IMO.
Not bad anime by itself, but dammit how long can you stretch it???
My favorite (by far) is Serial Experiments Lain.
i never finished bleach but i regret every episode i watched. naruto i never got into at all
Oh geez. I remember being curious about both of those. Until I watched one episode apiece.
i watched bleach up until ichigo beat aizen and then i just went I'M DONE. idc if the anime continues from here, this is a conclusion and i'm taking it. i'm FREE
I still don't see the charm.
i watched the first like 50 eps of bleach n after that ya no but that was when i was starting to watch anime
Bleach was just a bunch of cutaways of different charcters saying one line a piece for half an hour. It must have been a fairly late season. They had alot of characters.
bleach was a good anime up until the point where rukia was saved. if it had ended right here i would have fond memories of it
@Tohob thank you for the suggestion *added the entry No248 to the "want to see" list *
prolly the best one that i watched from back then that still holds up is eureka seven
👍🏻
I can back up Shin Sekai Yori. It's a good choice.
and when i say holds up i mean compared to everything else i watched as a highschool weeb like 10 years ago
I am now obsessed with an anime I got a glimpse of, and didn't bother to look it up while I could
if you can transplant that glimpse into my mind i might know what it is lol
not sure how i feel about the new eureka seven that was made a few years ago, like idk if i thought it was good cuz of nostalgia feels or if it was actually good
Alot of people say it was good. But I never got it.
I was watching the episodes out of order though, so that may have had an effect.
LOL yeah it also references the original alot in very cryptic ways
>watching out of order
reeee
It is a superower kind of anime, people there posess some sort of superhuman abilities and fight in rather well drawn scenes
