Indeed.
*culturing intensifies*
Athena and Hephaesthus were my favourites among the olympians
Good taste.
Here an aditional funfact: While Athena was prayed as goddess of "windom", she specifially was seens as the goddess of warfare technology.
She was a god of strategy and stuff
So yes, tech too
But I'd expect Warfare technology to be more related to Hephaesthus
The superlong spear called the Sarissa was said to be inspired by her.
Hephaesthus was more in creating known weapons, only a lot better than the rest.
Yea
In which case I got two anime shows that delve deep into mythology, if you are interrested.
For some reason the issue of oddessey I had called Odysseus as Ullysus
All the other names were accurate
Someone needs to make a good adaptation of that epic
lol i remember in one of my creative arts classes in college
we started with the greeks n looked at ullyses
OOOOoh I forgot, I got the perfect anime for you.
funny cuz i didnt do the first semester course but i had no problems
especially in art history lol
*art boner intensifies*
Steins gate ?
Nope, but good taste right there.
Here's the thing about anime for me
It needs to be special, interesting in some way
For example, I hate dragon ball
"Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria"
I love yu yu hakusho
And yes, I know that feeling.
This one is special.
I also like one piece
Some animes develop characters, and aren't afraid to let people die and suffer
The idea is simple: take a modern age guy and put him in the ancient times, now give him access to knowledge about said time.
In dragon ball, fuck it. Nothing matters
See him use the turtle formation before rome was a thing.
That's really cool
I'll watch it!
Or iron weapons in the bronze age.
It makes heavy use of norse mythology.
It's a new anime, so only 2 or 3 episodes are available.
