Left wing would be so mad.
Eh, I'll live xD
The Republicans winning the midterms would get them really mad.
We are winning the mid-terms.
That one would actually count though.
I'm not convinced.
Why do you think they are ramping up their hateful messages.
Because it rallies the base?
If they felt like they were not in trouble, they wouldn't be rallying.
Because the base is what matters in low turnout elections like special elections and midterms?
They would be gloating.
They are gloating.
It's basically copying the GOP playbook of the 2010's when the Tea Party was still a thing
Rally the base to the limit
You know why I think the Republicans will win?
Because they are starting to talk about impeachment again.
Though, admittedly, the Democrats would probably have a higher hurdler because the redistricting from the 2010 census severely handicapped their chances of winning a house seat in the senate
Maybe. But I wouldn't get overconfident.
That will rally the voters of Republicans.
I'm not sure.
CNN is helping Republicans by talking about impeachment of Trump. Republicans don't want that, so they rally behind each other to voter booths.
Maybe. But I don't necessarily think that's how it works.
It's not as if by getting Trump impeached it puts a Democrat in the white house; it just means Pence will be President
Which, to be frank, would actually be a better thing for conservatives in the long run
This will also piss of Republicans.
That could. But you'd have to communicate it to the base.
And that hasn't happened to say the least.
The thing is, not all Republicans like Trump.
And not all Republicans like their congressmen.
I like that people still feel qualified to pretend to know the turnout
The two are fighting.
After the election we just had, we still have people pretending to know the turnout.
Hilarious.
The important thing is, regardless of these things, to get out to vote and turn out your allies.
@Scribblehatch can agree. But I wouldn't necessarily make predictions on it either way. I still remember Virginia, for example.
I am just saying, I predict the Republicans will maintain the house and gain a few seats
That's a long bet. Wanna make it?
A Seat or Two.
