That's an R+8 district.
Who are we talking about?
It should have never been news. Nonetheless as close as it was.
Troy Balderson.
Ignore the headline if you want. But it's a verified fact it's a safe Republican district that was so close that they spent weeks recounting.
You really think that's comparable to the mega-event in november?
And the seat is up for actual election in November.
Considering it would be the same people again...yes.
And it's just part of a trend, really. There's been a number of special elections.
If there's a local election in my state, I'm not aware of it because I don't watch TV.
But how the hell would I be unaware of the midterms?
This is the sort of question that throws people
"Wait how were all the polls wrong."
9_9
Considering midterms usually have low turnout. I'm not sure it matters.
Because we're not inspecting voters on the human level.
People just don't care mostly.
lol
Fun fact
I didn't even know what Midterms WERE until this term.
Or aren't completely aware of the elcetion.
You have no idea how big that is.
Or that.
Trump has made EVERYTHING LESS BORING
Some of us have been in the loop for awhile though.
Will not disagree there.
Key phrase
"Some of us"
You have no idea how much is different now. And it's quaint.
I have doubts. But we'll see.
I get the feeling we're voting the same way in November. So I hope you're right.
This is the first president I've seen in my lifetime.
I didn't go out and vote for him on election day
But I can't lie. I don't think it's not looking terribly bright.
I'm strongly considering going out and voting all red.
I've NEVER voted before.
Please do.
--The polls don't know how to measure the feeling as I just described it to you.
You should generally stay aware of politics and vote. It's a civic duty.
