well hip hop started off with a real positive message but then gangsta rap came(which a lot of it i admittedly love) but then it became all about money and bling all that other bullshit and now its just a mess

but artists like Mos Def, KRS-One, Talib Kweli, Prodigy, Gang Starr, Tribe Called Quest etc.. those guys always pushed the positive vibes. you don't see that kinda thing that much any more

Party is sorta justifiable. Party discipline means that parties do matter at the end of the day.
You have to weigh what someone says they'll do against how much control the party might have when the chips fall.

I do not know if Tim reads this much, but I finally understand the "Pinochet did nothing wrong" shirt. It is responce to the "it's ok to punch Nazis" shirt.
If it is ok to punch Nazis then Pinochet did nothing wrong.
It's probably more a variant on the 'Hitler did nothing wrong' meme. The entire joke of which hinging on the offensiveness of it and us all being able to agree that Hitler did a ton of shit that was far worse than just wrong.
