Aisha's age is disputed even amongst islamic scholars
But not by much, a year or two
"Not much"
and does it matter if we talk about an 8 or 11 year old girl?
Some say she was 16
The islamic scriptures IIRC say that she was around 18 when Mohammed died.
Depends on whos interpreting them
Other sources put her at as young as 6 or 7
I love how people judge the past by modern standards.
^
She was 6 when she was promised to Mohammed.
Arranged marriage was like that...

Loli is a taboo subject while it's fine to follow Islam. And why?
Cuz fans of loli won't commit violence. TEE HEE.
@RyeNorth I don't, I judge it by what's happening today..
uhhhh
that was his point
meant that I judge by how it is seen today by the believers.
Christians often distance themselves from the bad/violent parts of the Bible for example.
And how'd they get there?
A new testament.
Because every Christian interprets the bible in its own way and nobody takes it literally.
So yeah, you have to take a look at the Religion and judge it by what it does to the people!
And not all religions are equal. Some are good, some are not.
And yes, christian beliefs are often abused and misused by the preachers for personal benefits (Power or Money)....
All religions are shit, the only difference is the degree of the shit
New testament didn't do shit
No, some Religions are good and a net plus for the People.
And Stefan didn't answer my question.
The Problem often times doesn't lie in the Religion, its in the Institutions.
New testament is indicative of an overall effort to want to change for the future.
Islam doesn't do that.
And the Problems we have right now with the political divide wouldn't be happening if we still had a unifying religion.
--Egh.
A brain softening agent would sure soften our brains, yes.
And that is the job of the Religion: Unify the people and keep the beast in man in check.
You can't believe in something you don't, though.
The internet drags religion behind the shed with a shotgun.
