@Atkins a red pill was swallowed in that statement

2018-09-01 23:40:16 UTC

For those who dont believe this is real the actual full vox article is up in <#398858182455459853>

But that was a worse explanation that tmg's original one

2018-09-01 23:41:24 UTC

Lol @Blackhawk342 I have one talent

2018-09-01 23:41:33 UTC

The arguement hes trying to address isnt about capability, its about willingness

2018-09-01 23:41:47 UTC

Of course it doesn't account for the people. If they keep getting things for free, why should they work for the stuff? Why should they even leave the house? The money will then stop flowing into the insurance because no one will be making any more money, because money isn't needed. Once that happen inflation will skyrocket because the government will be tasked with handling the burden that used to be on the citizens, this will lead to the government printing more money. Printing money devalues money thus inflation. We would see a situation like in Venezuela. Only way to remedy this problem would to "FORCE" everyone to work, thus forced labor aka taking away their rights.

2018-09-01 23:42:01 UTC

It would end up in a tyrannical rule.

2018-09-01 23:43:08 UTC

Reason government will be forced to print, is because many of the tax revenue would up and disappear.

2018-09-01 23:43:18 UTC

Only sales tax would be accounted for.

2018-09-01 23:43:20 UTC

Mark i think you're back on the anti socialist train of thought

2018-09-01 23:43:26 UTC

@Dusty Morgan chill bro

2018-09-01 23:43:30 UTC

Oh sorry.

2018-09-01 23:43:32 UTC

And a much larger economic scale than tmg is discussing

2018-09-01 23:43:44 UTC

I kinda expanded on what he is talking about.

2018-09-01 23:43:45 UTC
2018-09-01 23:43:46 UTC

Sorry.

2018-09-01 23:44:00 UTC

Its a good expansion and the conversation would get there eventually

2018-09-01 23:44:08 UTC

It's ok just slow up and let some other people talk @Dusty Morgan

2018-09-01 23:44:32 UTC

Because what you were talking about is the same thing that tmg brought up: free will to help vs being required to help

2018-09-01 23:44:32 UTC

I have a complete understanding why the free stuff idea fails. T_T

2018-09-01 23:44:39 UTC

I tend to go further than I need to when explaining.

2018-09-01 23:44:56 UTC

Theres no level of explanation thats uncessary

2018-09-01 23:45:09 UTC

but there does need to be a base for the further elaboration

2018-09-01 23:45:18 UTC

Okay.

2018-09-01 23:45:47 UTC

Well I used to be a socialist in thinking, then real life hit me hard.

2018-09-01 23:45:48 UTC

I think a lot of the issue TMG is that people assume that people will always work if they know the system takes care of them

2018-09-01 23:45:50 UTC

guys

2018-09-01 23:45:51 UTC

imagine

2018-09-01 23:45:55 UTC

2018-09-01 23:45:57 UTC

2018-09-01 23:46:03 UTC

2018-09-01 23:46:08 UTC

you go wanted

2018-09-01 23:46:11 UTC

Yeah people will not work because there isn't a reason too.
