We are also interested in all that and you are now a member @Aszerah

2020-01-28 20:59:55 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Hierarchies are fairly natural. Denying them tends to mean informal hierarchies of social status spring up.

2020-01-28 21:13:52 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Capitalism has produced a wealthy and successful society. People are lifted out of poverty, disease, and work less. Some degree of work is necessary to produce resources for survival, and capitalism results in much more liberty than individual emancipation than other systems. Structure and hierarchy keeps people stable and able to develop social systems and technology to improve liberty.

2020-01-28 21:19:44 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

You do use a lot of fancy words which tends to reduce the value of discussion

2020-01-28 21:20:19 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Yeah, but there's a time and a place

2020-01-28 21:20:32 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Looks like you used a thesaurus to stick random long words in at places

2020-01-28 21:22:55 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

You cannot dumb down complex concepts. This hurts the meaning and reduces discussion to mere description. That would be a more clear way to say it.

2020-01-28 21:25:16 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Sure, there are minor linguistic differences but the basic meaning is the same.

2020-01-28 21:25:29 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

The purpose of language is communication

2020-01-28 23:30:29 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Starvation is pretty unusual in capitalist countries

2020-01-28 23:30:46 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

There's enough surplus that you can almost always get food, even if you have no income

2020-01-28 23:31:23 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Technology from capitalist societies has established a large surplus

2020-01-28 23:31:32 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Car?

2020-01-28 23:32:16 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

a lot are socialist like Zimbabwe

2020-01-28 23:32:28 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Socialist utopias

2020-01-28 23:34:12 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

There a lots of others like Algeria

2020-01-28 23:35:41 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Ethiopia

2020-01-28 23:37:15 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Socialism destroyed much of Africa

2020-01-28 23:38:14 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Angola , Benin,Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, Mozambique,, Tanzania, and Zambia, Zimbabwe and others

2020-01-28 23:38:38 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

They bought into it because they felt capitalism was colonialism

2020-01-28 23:38:49 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Then socialism prevented their economies from advancing

2020-01-28 23:40:40 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Successful capitalist countries are pretty common

2020-01-28 23:41:01 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Socialism leads to military dictatorships

2020-01-28 23:41:16 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Africa doesn't have great leadership

2020-01-28 23:41:23 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Capitalism can't unfuck Africa

2020-01-28 23:41:31 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

They have governments that are socialist

2020-01-28 23:41:38 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Which destroyed their prosperity

2020-01-28 23:41:46 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

And often don't want to invite capitalism in

2020-01-28 23:42:08 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

If you don't try capitalism capitalism can't save you

2020-01-28 23:42:31 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

These were literal socialist countries

2020-01-28 23:42:41 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

S ocialists who deny the market aren't true capitalists

2020-01-28 23:44:27 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Own the failures of socialist nations like Zimbabwe ?

2020-01-28 23:47:59 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

The economy of Cameroon was one of the most prosperous in Africa for a quarter of a century after independence. The drop in commodity prices for its principal exports โ€”petroleum, cocoa, coffee, and cotton โ€” in the mid-1980s, combined with an overvalued currency and economic mismanagement, led to a decade-long recession. Real per capita GDP fell by more than 60% from 1986 to 1994. The current account and fiscal deficits widened, and foreign debt grew. Yet because of its oil reserves and favorable agricultural conditions, Cameroon still has one of the best-endowed primary commodity economies in sub-Saharan Africa.[15]

2020-01-28 23:48:07 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

doesn't sound the worst

2020-01-28 23:48:49 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Recent signs, however, are encouraging. As of March 1998, Cameroon's fifth IMF program โ€” a 3-year enhanced structural adjustment program approved in August 1997 โ€” is on track. Cameroon has rescheduled its Paris Club debt at favorable terms. GDP has grown by about 5% a year beginning in 1995. There is cautious optimism that Cameroon is emerging from its long period of economic hardship.

2020-01-28 23:48:54 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Thank you capitalism

2020-01-28 23:50:41 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Looks like the big problem was France

2020-01-28 23:50:49 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

They looted a lot of their money

2020-01-28 23:50:56 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Still, they're doing better now

2020-01-28 23:51:23 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

France, why do you do these things?

2020-01-28 23:53:36 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Ah Google explains all

2020-01-28 23:53:52 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

They're a dictatorship which is looting their people with the help of France

2020-01-28 23:54:03 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

That does tend to make capitalism more difficult

2020-01-28 23:54:11 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Capitalism plus democracy is best

2020-01-28 23:58:04 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Google says this

2020-01-28 23:58:07 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Cameroonโ€™s economic freedom score fell by 2.4 places to 51.8, ranking it 150th on the 2017 Index, placing it in the โ€˜mostly unfreeโ€™ band. This performance reflects a decline in labour freedom, business freedom, an increased bureaucratic inertia and trade freedom. Despite an improvement in property rights, there have been restrictions transferring money into/out of the country. Cameroon is ranked 34th out of 46 countries in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, and its overall score is lower than the regional average.

2020-01-28 23:58:36 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

It has lower economic freedom than average

2020-01-28 23:58:47 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

So, the government seems to be more nationalistic than capitalists

2020-01-28 23:59:06 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

And Google suggests that many are suggesting more free trade and such would boost their economy

2020-01-28 23:59:55 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

No, I am not restricting it like that

2020-01-29 00:00:09 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

I mean, part of their problem is that they have rules and regulations preventing capitalism

2020-01-29 00:00:18 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

They're doing better than socialist nations

2020-01-29 00:00:35 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

But they don't have a strong commitment to capitalism which is reducing their income

2020-01-29 00:00:54 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

It notes say it's hard to move money into the nation

2020-01-29 00:01:03 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

So foreigners can't invest easily in the country

2020-01-29 00:01:11 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Or trade with it

2020-01-29 00:01:46 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

also heavy functional regulations against starting businesses

2020-01-29 00:03:27 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

You told me to own Cameroon

2020-01-29 00:03:29 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

So I did

2020-01-29 00:03:47 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

I noted it doing better than socialist nations but also noted they have laws against capitalism

2020-01-29 00:04:34 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

I am respecting their skill and spirit

2020-01-29 00:04:43 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

They did well, better than most nations

2020-01-29 00:04:59 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Their failures were heavily because they were also super nationalist, above capitalism

2020-01-29 03:40:40 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

The case against him collapsed because the victim lied about events and had sex with someone the day before and after and had their fluids and hair on her panties she gave to police as evidence of rape.

2020-01-30 01:51:34 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Welcome back.
