tbh i've thought about people saying "how come we cant see the earth curve" BUT when you think about it, the human eye cannot physically see far enough to actually see the land curve. from the exact point we are standing, whether it is on mount everest or on the ground, we cannot see the earth curve because of the fact that the earth is too big to see that far.

you can still see land if it's 10 miles away. no matter what, we cannot actually see the curve.

the fact that it is 24.901 miles in circumference is the exact reason why we cannot see the curve.

if we could see the earth curve within 3 miles, wouldn't the earth be a crap ton smaller?
