The Earth goes through heating and cooling stages as it passes through the thin (astronomically wise) layers of dark matter in the universe every few billion years

And when the Earth passes through these layers it heats up slowly but surely plus superheating it, Climate Change simply sped that up and when it drops out of the Dark Matter layer it'll begin its cooling into an ice age

If the earth was truly flat, then human eyes would be able to see all of it

You can see it with your eyes although you wouldn't actually be able to make it out with the human eye, you need a telescope, this has been proven by funnily enough, people with eyes.
