Okay, it looks like i tried to change my user name on my computer discord and it is saying the email is already in use do i need to delete this and try to log in under shamangal?

So when i go to delete my patriotgal1 on discord (which is whats on my computer) i can't seem to delete it. I went to discordapp.com and it still comes up under patriotgal1. Do i need to remove the app from the computer and then download it again?
