@Imabeliever1953 I can't explain; however, there are some things to note. First, the article you linked, and the article that article linked with Bumatay's name don't actually state anything he's done - rather, it talks about the associations he is or was in. There is a difference. It doesn't mean it's a good selection, or a bad one. He could be a hardcore radical, or he could have thought "these guys are LGBT, I guess i'll join them for 20 bucks and get a membership card" (note i have no idea if either apply).

I equate it like this: I support Gun Owner's of America over the NRA. The NRA constantly folds like a house of cards all the time, but many of their members don't even realize this and believe they don't give an inch. I think most NRA members are probably great people and I think they're generally supporting a good cause even if I think the NRA could do so much better. I don't expect everyone to look into every detail regarding the association.

I'd rather see the pros and cons of what this guy has actually done; which neither article provided, rather than whatever some association had done that he has ties to (be them strong or tangential).

This one is really making the rounds today...it is NOT on the whitehouse.gov website. people really need to double check the ish they're spreading.
