I argued it in another server. And I feel like a lot of people don't understand what pedophilia mean

would u say an adult who went after a 14 year old is a pedo? yes or no?

If you said yes, I wouldn't had liked it. Because pedophiles go after 13 years old and younger. If an adult went after a 14, 15, 16, 17 year old, that isn't pedophilia. That is ephebophilia.

btw, I'm not saying it makes things right. It doesn't. But it isn't pedophilia as well.

I'm just trying to find people who agree with me.

I just am bothered how people misuse pedophilia. A pedo is someone who goes after 13 years old and younger. Anything above and between 18 years of age doesn't define pedophilia. So a 55 year old man dating a 14 year old isn't pedophilia.

Let me make this clear that I'm not saying it is right. It is gross and wrong. But my argument is about the definition itself.
