the 100 ft one was taken with a fisheye.
earth isn't a perfect sphere, just like if the earth was flat, it wouldn't be perfectly flat.
hello @Sopuli. we're doing fine, just having a nice little debate about if earth is flat or round.
more like an argument.
i'm undecided.
if the earth is flat, why are eyes round and not flat?
it's easy to screw data. that's why we can't trust this gif, flat earthers, and even nasa. we don't know until we find out ourselves.
how do we know the earth is flat or round? we only know when we see it. you wouldn't know until you see it. we go with our own beliefs. once again, that's why we can't trust anyone. that's why flat earthers stay flat, and round earthers stay round.
i keep saying, no one knows if the earth is flat or round. there's no reason to believe anyone. we can't trust school, we can't trust the flat earth community, we can't trust nasa, you know.
this whole thing makes me want to travel to antarctica to find out the real truth and take a picture of it. who knows what is real until we see it.
it does cost a lot of money. plus, the only people allowed there are scientists.
exactly
cheaper than going to space? yes. safer? debatable.
still better going to antarctica then.
i have a question, what do you think is at the end of the earth?
I do. gravity
i wonder what is happening now
yep
if the earth is flat, why are headphones round and not flat ๐ค
it's probably rap music from what I know
yes
i am
it's quite nice actuallyt
actually
how is fort minor now?
*yeah*

your pancreas is acting up @รtos
pancreatically challenged @รtos or in other words, pancreatitis?
this is making me uncomfortable
i'm not informed in this topic, what is aether
i found a weird article
@ibyghee Earthโs core, a rotating mix of iron and nickel with internal flows driven by the passage of heat, has no battery and no wires. Instead, it creates magnetism by means of self-sustaining feedback. Liquid metal moving through a magnetic field generates a current, similar to that induced in the moving coil of an electric generator. That current in turn generates the magnetic field. This โself-generationโ mechanism can dramatically amplify the small, random fields that always exist in magnetic materials. To do this, though, the flow must be both complex, mixing up the longitudinal and latitudinal directions, and rapid, โtangling upโ magnetic field lines faster than they can untangle.
who knows if this is real or not
@KarmaSH you don't want to know
@๐The Mad Philosopher๐ are you anti-vax? just asking
because nearly everyone else is muted here
if vaccines are good why did i fall down the stairs today
we all are at some point @๐The Mad Philosopher๐
ok
what is happening now?
because I don't know which side to take
3,959 miles in American measurements.
circumference is around 24,901 miles
we don't believe what we don't see with our eyes
light doesn't always travel in a straight line
@DoomCookie i have been there.
refraction changes light's direction
@DoomCookie what are you getting at here
@DoomCookie depends. this flat earth thing is how people see it. they only believe what they see. i'm just saying
@DoomCookie ok go take your doo doo
@DoomCookie it is.
i believe in i don't actually know
send a screenshot

There are a lot of space agencies. NASA is the biggest, so it is the most targeted. @nef
