Alllllll sorts of people from different racial and ethnic backgrounds were slaves. Do we condone it with today’s standards? No, do we look at the battle flag and suddenly have pride in racism and slavery? No. So what’s the deal?

This is less about carrying a flag and more about freedom to have whatever you choose to have.
