a guideline of defense is this, we're securing right wing events, if you turn up with masks and start punching people that's an attack, we go in with batons

if people turned up to your house and started throwing rocks at you you go out and beat them, if someone turns up to your event, you go out and beat them back

yeah you can get small extendable batons like police have, non lethal but pretty effective
