@HairyBear pets are the best! They are good for your health too. Lower stress, lower blood pressure, less depression (which means stronger immune system). I got a dog a couple years ago and he was initially the biggest pain in the butt, but now we cuddle and spoon like those cats

My dog is acting super weird. He’s had his tail between his legs since yesterday. He jumped and yelped in the car for no apparent reason and then has been hiding. Nothing fell on him, nothing hit him. Idk what’s going on. Has anyone experience this? Do you think he ate something he shouldn’t? Do you think something but him?

I think he’s too young for most of that. Maybe it’s the pancreas thing? He did somehow get the lid to the trash open the other day. But it was so sudden. Idk. I’ll keep an eye out. Thanks for the article 💜

I think the important distinction is that gerrymandering is done by officials to affect election outcomes. Parts California and NY want to secede because they are not accurately represented by the officials being elected. Geographically, most of the state is red (and I’m convinced that in a fair election more of it would be). So I think-though likely not feasible-it is fair for those conservative areas to want their own representatives that will reflect their values

East TN almost seceded from west Tn because they didn’t want to joint the confederacy and west did. They didn’t do it, but I think that’s a valid reason.

I think my biggest issue with people getting Covid (if it is covid and not the flu) is the amount of complaining. If you are well enough to spend 10 minutes telling me how sick you are, you aren’t that sick. And for real! People act like they have never had a chest cold before. I have asthma. I’ve had bronchitis numerous times and even pneumonia. It’s sucks. It feels like someone is ripping out your bronchial tubes. But that’s life. The people I know who had it talk about how awful it is because they can’t get warm and they run out of breath easily...of course...because you are sick.
