I think the military is over funded nowadays. In the modern era there’s not as much of a need for powerful military, however, I still think military is important I think that much of the money we spend will n it could be put to more useful things like education or health. What I think we should do is cut the military budget to between 200-300billion, and add the rest to schools. Also I think other things the govt spends too much money on other things as well. What we need to do is have a *necessary* amount of money put towards each govt funded project or whatnot rather than overspending. Anything you want to add to my opinion or try to convince me otherwise, you’re welcome to do so.

I got banned for a comment that didn’t break any rules and mainly talked about police brutality, my stance was pretty much just that police brutality happens to everyone. I listed statistics and evidence to support my claim, yet I was banned. There’s no way I’m gonna talk about this without letting you know that there’s a rule on the blacklivesmatter subreddit that gives moderators the power to ban any comments if they don’t like the comment. I’m not exaggerating that either, you can go to the sub a look at that rule. But yeah, 11 minutes later after asking why exactly I was banned, they muted me. This whole subreddit is such a good example of how the closed off these people are to ideas they disagree with and their lack of willingness to have a sensible conversation.
