iirc the flesh is what was crucified but Christ's Spirit (which is also God's Spirit) went down to hell before His fleshly body was resurrected to fulfill the prophecy for the disciples

the flesh part of Jesus died (the "Christ") but the Spirit resurrected, iirc

God's Spirit was alive in Jesus while His flesh was crucified

because Jesus had two parts when He took on human form

the human form died, but the Spirit form was always alive

there's a prophetic dimension to the trinity which i think he was alluding to which is important to understand
