Has anyone else listened to the MIT guys break down the algorithm and the weighted vote option built into the software? Why would we even purchase such a SOFTWARE?

I so long to go back to my youth, when I still believed in fairness and dignity and right being the outcome more often than inequity.

And when I was ignorant of the corruption and the insanity that settles on the shoulders of those who are absolved of all blame or responsibility.

Before the "new deal" judicial expansion of immunity and the ability of those who are in power to get paid for their votes and their badges without any real threat of consequences, that's when government began to grow beyond anything that would ever again embody the principles and values specifically define in the Constitution.

The two things POTUS has done: cattle prodded us from our self centered wrapped lives and cattle prodded the country into recognition of the true nature of our world. Most people would give anything to shut this off and go back to their lives, they are deluded into complacency that it will eventually all just go back to normal and so they just want to stop talking and pretend nothing's changed

But the truth is we are seeing what the sides want us to see. If we were to come together completely aside from all of these politicians and corruption, we could foster discourse and call a constitutional convention and reverse the oligarchy. I say make civil service mandatory for every person for 2 years. Require that these government programs stop fudging around and start integrating the welfare class into public service positions.

If the candidates for government had all taken their campaign money and just given it to the people instead of wasting it on the media and all the bs, think of how much better off we would all be.

I would also like to know, why couldn't the big tech be taken over into a "government corporation" like Amtrak?

I think what people don't understand is the wealth gap is a tool of the government monoliths like former VP Biden. The poor cannot protect themselves. The government power grabbers like we have seen, will squeeze every drop of blood out of the working class and the poor because they (those without money) can't fight back very easily, or give up because they don't have the time or energy to fight because they are too busy fighting to live.

I equate it to prisoners who become institutionalized. They go into these encapsulated environments, establish tyrannical hierarchical kingdoms within those frameworks, and they become so entrenched and so convinced of their power over "civilians" that they become tyrants who largely go unchecked for long periods of time. If we put the exact same restrictions on government power as we do on citizens, it would be much more reasonable.

In the "best practices" for banks and other corporations that have a lot of cash handling and account access...do you realize that they say that personnel should be rotated out of those positions every three years to avoid the temptation and mitigate risk of corruption or theft?

Because of the fact that I am a writer and published (barely) author, I find the media so boring and trite. Gone are the days when these guys were all competing for your attention by fleshing put the stories, down in the trenches and out in the dunes. Gone are the interesting insights into the rest of the world and the joy of intelligent heated, yet respectful debate. There is always so much shouting and hate and anger and just plain bad manners it makes me want to throw up. But I know that cortisol rots your brain cells so I stay grateful.

If every American felt like that this would be over now instead people want to bury their heads in the sand they want to act like none of this is happening because they're either too lazy or too selfish or too scared to risk anything

@maw government is not bad when it is limited. Police are not bad when they are governed. Immunity, the ability to lie and cheat and steal by cops, the molasses like overreach of law making judges and legislature is what's bad.

People who are unable to develop their own sense of self-worth end up getting into the government and they are placed in a position where they have power over other people. When that happened the corruption starts to eat away at them and that's when tyranny begins. So you have people who think that they should be and do something more and can't accept themselves for themselves so they look to the elite and they try and be here leads and so they end up being the tools of the elite and so it creates a division between us when really we are the people with the power because we can overrun the government at any moment if we could get our heads together it's just sad that are country has degenerated into a group of individuals that had no idea how to create their own identities and they create their own self-worth inside themselves why did we lose that where did it go why can't people understand that it's not what other people think of you and it's not what popularity or followers or anything like that these people that are freaking that freaked out are so angry and upset and they are so miserable how do we get that way how did we get here that's what we need to resolve

Yes if you wanted to be a bully and you would just wear too much of a coward to go out there and get hurt there's a lot of bullies with badges out there and there's a lot of Judges that are bullies out there that's what I said they need to be governed because it takes a special kind of person to be a police officer in the fact that we have given immunity through the justice system and through the union so that these guys have no sense of responsibility so their actions that is the problem that is what started to happen

And when did we go from believing that lawyers are the absolute bottom feeding not to be ever trusted individuals on the face of the planet to where if you go in front of a judge and you're up against an attorney that whatever you say doesn't matter that's the way he's here in Arizona if you are not a corporation and you are not an attorney you have no say and you have no rights and that is disgusting that is indicative of what our problem is
