Just because there are some cops that are uneducated, it doesn't mean they have all committed crimes as of yet, so reform is needed. Some sort of checks and balances with audits afterwards.

Where just like any other citizen would be tried an officer is tried. If they were acting based on self defense or protecting someone they aren't guilty of anything, but maybe they could be taught some tactics to lower those shootings out of self defense.

The police need to be taught what the constitution means down the line and educated more about what violates those rights as well as the most important laws that could be broken on a daily basis. Also, they could hand them a book to refer to when they are out on patrol. Just a few suggestions to start with.

I feel they should be properly trained on de-escalation tactics, maybe by professional negotiators in hostage situations. If they could de-escalate a situation before anyone goes for a gun it would improve things drastically.

No special treatment should be given to cops OR different races period.

If you're a cop, and you commit a crime, you should be tried like any other citizen. This goes for celebrities too. Unless it's out of a really bad self defense situation or protecting someone else, you go to jail and do not pass go.

They should also be fired and not allowed to ever be a cop again.

It would be quite a bit safer with two cops in a lot of places for one, and they'd be less likely to act up. Routine partners should not be allowed, the order should be switched up to prevent any planning between two cops.

If you don't supply your officers with body cams, the supervisor or sheriff is the next to be fires, and if you protect an officer who has committed a crime you should be prosecuted and lose your job as well.

The person should know the law, and be aware of what the constitution means and conduct a fair audit of every precinct in every state.

You can put out notifications that say if you are anti-violence and about peaceful protest, choose a different slogan as we will be coming after activists...you have been warned.

If you catch someone committing a crime, call the cops, then it should be investigated fully on who else is involved...one by one case by case if we have to. If they get violent. .... I agree with Trump...send in the national guard 10/10
