The DC amici plus 22 other states and territories filing in the same document all side in favor of rejecting the case. They all follow party lines in this matter, so why should SCOTUS get involved with a political matter when there are no federal or US constitutional issues here?

2020-12-11 00:49:10 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

I misspoke, they fall across the winner/loser of presidential election results they have already certified

Utahn here, the GOP governor is denouncing the AG that joined as amici.

2020-12-11 01:06:45 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

Yeah, it's possible, but why risk the riots?

If this goes through and states are allowed to meddle in other states elections, this will happen election after election. These states have sovereignty over their elections and don't have to answer to anyone but the US Constitution and code. It's a 4yo complaining that big bro or big sis aren't doing it right. It's like my aspy son that throws fits when things aren't done his way.

I don't buy the benefit of 'not being a politician' all that means is Trump can throw away any and all human dignity we all deserve if money is on the table. There's a place for that.. but it's not in the white house.

2020-12-11 01:21:54 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

States had the opportunities to change and adjust laws, they ran out of time and covid hit tho

2020-12-11 01:25:07 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

The others are the sec. Of state and election boards that were delegated the power by their legislature

2020-12-11 01:29:03 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

All states, this year and for as far back as elections have happened, have had state suits filed and differences and illegalities called out on their own states. Stone just handled it better than others.. but why does TX think it has standing when there is alternate venue?

2020-12-11 01:29:57 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

They aren't the only ones, they delegate heavily and chose to let others run the elections and let their electors be chosen by those elections

2020-12-11 01:34:31 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

No one wants to encourage China, really. You think that's an actual thing?

2020-12-11 01:36:27 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

Each state is different though. Utah had had 100% unsolicited mail in ballots for years.. hasn't caused widespread fraud in any of those years.

2020-12-11 01:40:14 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

Covid alone IS a reason for election reform. Reform goes poorly, what are you going to do with an election 6 months away?

2020-12-11 01:41:45 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

Spy. You know.. you're not supposed to know who's a spy and who isn't. If he did it knowing she was an agent, you don't think his dealings with her would have been different?

2020-12-11 01:46:18 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

Probably that they were never connected to the internet and that Rudy's 'expert' only showed public domain data coming and going from obvious public networks, not air gapped election networks.

2020-12-11 01:47:25 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #general-chat]

Exactly what a spy would say. .. ๐Ÿ˜

2020-12-11 01:55:42 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

Yup. And I trust this and the operators are running it in good faith, with prudence, and not exploiting it. Exploits would be caught in logs, audits, and recounts anyway.

2020-12-11 02:07:06 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

No, it's not obvious, but time stamps and any process running on any computer platform can report to a log showing that 'something' happened, a scan, an index key number baked into the qvr code, or just coupled with the physical evidence that's set aside for audit purposes makes it trackable. They don't know or care the identity of a person, but that's not needed anyway for an audit of 'how many times was this ballot scanned or printed or was the printer paper changed or whatever.

2020-12-11 02:14:09 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

I'm also trusting that each election board, state, and decision making group that they think about security and enlist security experts to design safeguards into the process that doesn't rely solely on the machine. Color codes, blanks with index numbers, locked storage rooms, machine access codes, user biometrics, other policy should be in place.. little things that you don't know about unless you are trained and there in the room when the decisions are made and the guide books are written.

2020-12-11 02:18:42 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

I'm probably too trusting? But then again, I'm not an insider or trained. My training deals a lot with what is possible in security though.

2020-12-11 02:22:43 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

Databases are.. hard? Yeah state and local government don't have staffing resources to do it on their own, practically to do much advanced, they would have to contract out.. but I'm still hopeful that someone find the money or were handed a complete security solution and trained appropriately.

Voting machines source code has already been through analysis on the software industry in the last 20 years. I suggest we kick it up a notch, keep on top of that make sure gov. analysts are continuing to do that, and independent security firms are funded through federal grants.

Have de-bunkers here already discussed Jovan H Pulitzer's white hat hack claims?

2021-01-04 05:01:00 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

I'm loving that congress passed rules today clarifying that they will abide by electoral count act from 1887 instead of the purist reading of the constitution.

2021-01-04 05:35:13 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

That's the guy. Thanks for the update. Could have saved me a ton of time watching his BS vids.

Seriously, if he had done anything he would have shown more than a WiFi analyzer showing a smart TV somewhere has open WiFi.

Also, he's not detailing ANYTHING just muddying the water. If he's as hopeful to let the truth be known regardless of political pressure, you'd think there'd be accurate information about the poll pads, that they're not dominion machines, and he'd be correcting misinformation.

His video of dominion sales pitch was pretty heavily edited, removed from all context, probably very old from when states first purchased the gear (years ago?) And his review of the manuals from dominion machines is misleading. He's far from impartial as he claims and I wasted too much time watching his smug preaching while he's withholding any technical details that would have provided evidence.

2021-01-04 05:54:22 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

Trump seriously just wants to create another 'birther' conspiracy.

2021-01-04 05:54:45 UTC [RobertGrulerEsq #election2020]

He's still beating that drum 12 years later
