You'll die of liver damage if you drink due to stupidity, man

This is pretty late in regards to the ID stuff, but here's how it is where I am, if you care, @bitels
Arizona has a few different sorts of ID. Federally-acceptable ones include:
Passport, which iirc needs to be updated about every 10 years. Doing so takes a day at the DMV, which can be sped up by having your own photos pre-done at a Walgreens, Costco, or similar place. I think it takes ~$20 and a business week to get it.
Driver's License: You need to take a driving test to get one, which at 16 takes a few months of driving and parental help, but once you're over 18 you just have to prove you can do it and take the test. You might have to take the test multiple times, which is ~$10 per test, and again, a day at the DMV. Different places have different requirements for the tests, so places that require parallel parking usually are less busy than places that don't, for instance.
This weird thing that's like a Passport and a Driver's License that lets you go to Canada and Mexico by car only. Most people just use passports, but it's available.
Meanwhile, ones that aren't federally acceptable (but that you can still bring in to vote, get alcohol where applicable, etc) are:
State-issued ID: Usually people get this 3 times in their life. As a 13-year-old kid, to prove who you are so if you're out past curfew there's proof of you. 18-year-old, to get the minor bit removed. And 21-year-old, to remove the can't drink part. They cost $12, and a day at the DMV.
Then you ferry into school IDs, which are only for minors, and you can also bring photographic proof of who you are plus some mail, etc for voting. That can be looked up by state.

The thing is, once you've had your DMV day, most things can be renewed by mail and unless you need a photo update, it's just the $20 or $12 or whatever. And since you're required by law to update them whenever you move, if you stay in one place for a long time, that's $12 once in a blue moon. They're not that bad.

I'm putting this here because I haven't found anything else on it, and I swear to god I hope it _is_ fake news, but can anyone help me confirm?

Some guy's dog killed because the dog was named after Trump?

Pffff.

An exhale of air in a half-laugh.

... I'm not sure what you're trying to do here, but I think I appreciate the sentiment?
