What's the most liberal religion

Utilitarianism is a religion??

Of the ancient religions that remain today which do you think is most liberal in the sense has gone through progressive change in its practices and belives

Probably a good thing if the propositions put forward are reasoned with

If i am not wrong Buddhists monks have debates on one another's interpretations of the teaching of Buddhism

Is the origin of Islam, Judaism and Christianity the same

Should Israel exist?

Kurdish people should also take their own land and form a country if they can

Does the world need US military hegemony???

Let's take a hypothetical situation where finland has technological advanced to form an utopia and they decide its time to conquer the world and achieve a better global society would finland be wrong in doing so if we look at history its formed by conquest

Most societies finally form utilitarian

I think a just society is such where the benifit of many don't come at the cost of others we can't form a totally equal system there would be an hierarchy in that

That's why we should all be skeptic and question every radical idea proposed

By an purely utilitarian standpoint yes

It's like self defence

Yes moral side of murder there's a great series of harverd lectures on YouTube great for introduction into moral philosophy and how that impacts law @American Nationalist

Harvard*

@American Nationalist lectures on YouTube

Search for the moral side of murder

We come back to the pully and railroad problem

A few vs many would you sacrifice a few to save many

But if ur a strictly utilitarian logical person ur response shouldn't change as we see in many situations of war and other extremes it often comes to sacrificing or putting ones own or loved ones lives at risk

What about poorer countries which might not be able to maintain a strong military and radical groups like isis might take over them

Modern music is becoming hit or miss

Did anyone try out Sam Harris meditation app waking up

Ya that's the idea behind antinatalism

No it's on android

What are the arguments to continue animal agriculture i don't see any good one

Ya but u can eat various plant proteins

So vegan and vegetarian are caloric deficient

Man i have been vegetarian for several years and a large majority of Indians are throughout generations and malnutrition is not seen in people who eat proper vegetarian diet

Ya i disagree

Why make inocent animals suffer if we can have proper nutrition without a meat

Well why have unnecessary suffering

What makes humans unique that we consider them giving human rights but not non human animals

So it's justified to kill mentally disabled people

Majority of Indians

No meat many drank milk though

I don't see the necessity to eat meat because it's evident that a vegan diet can provide everything

Plants don't feel pain and often produce fruits that are for consumption also it's necessary to eat something

I think all organisms from microscopic to humans want to eat, live, reproduce and evolutionarily it has developed mechanisms to do so. I believe in living in such a way which has minimal impact on the survival of others and that includes non human animals.
