One scenario that I think of sometimes is if some vigilantes in the college town in my rural Southern county decide to gang up and “bring justice” to those “dumb hicks” like me that live in the county’s rural areas

It would be scary, but the vigilantes would get neutralized real quick

@Wardog Oh, yes. That’s why I said that the attackers would be neutralized (killed) very quickly.
And don’t worry, that situation is just a hypothetical scenario I think about sometimes

But there are some really nutty people in that town

I can attest to that. I have attended school before in that town, and I once overheard some other students in a conversation saying “Not all conservative Christians are awful people. Well...most of them are”. That made me quite angry

And thank goodness that they are a minority. But boy, are they vocal

I’ve been shouted at by classmates

One time, during an agree/disagree activity, I said, “Poverty is bad, but it’s ok to be rich”. That prompted a cacophony of annoyed “Ohhhhhh!!”s from classmates

And in that same activity, I was only one standing on the “agree” side of the classroom regarding the notion that society would collapse without traditional marriage. I had to face a mass of 20 of my classmates, and several were yelling at me. The bell saved me from anything further, though

One time, I was telling my history teacher about an Ohio State paper that showed how horrifically savage the Mohawk Indians were, a notion that disproved the notion that she was trying to teach that the Mohawks were family-oriented and peaceful people. She responded, “dOes tHaT paPeR haVe AnY SouRcEs?” Um, the paper was from OHIO STATE

Indeed. Homeschooling is more important now than ever

There’s a reason why one Harvard dolt wanted homeschooling banned. They want to indoctrinate your children, and in their mind, they are saving your children from you and your terrible values by doing so. It’s despicable

I’m going to take AP Literature this school year, with a badly political teacher. Wish me luck

I am planning on keeping a journal that documents the date, class period, class, and description of every time one of my teachers gets political. And at the end of the year, I want to give my journal to the board office

It was discovered yesterday (IIRC) that a property that is only a few miles away from me (as the crow flies) was housing about 60 dogs, several snakes (including a boa constrictor), 3 sugar gliders, and 531 mice, rats and hamsters, all in bad condition. The property also had a marijuana operation and three residents living in a mobile home.

I don’t know if security cameras hold all of the video they take, but if so, low res video would be better for memory storage conservation

There aren’t many rare cars like those around here, since I’m in the countryside

But there is a 1980s Town Car up for auction about 40 miles south of me

The only time I’ve ever seen a super car of any kind near me was when a Murcielago oddly parked at a middle school academic team event
