You can point criticism at capitalism, and that's fair, but socialism ignores a key component of human nature -- those who are capable and those who are not. I have witnessed it first hand as an immigrant from a post soviet bloc. Small scale communities hold each other in check and it works but if you extend it to a national scale, or perhaps global, the bottom drags down the rest and demoralizes the rest. Productivity falls, and very few are willing to work and contribute to a system that hands out resources equally, regadless of how "productive" you have been.

You can run for any political position -- governor, senator or even take it to a local state level. Or if you prefer, you can do some finance stuff and get involved in corporations as well as unions. Ideologically, you want to lobotomize all people. You claim than nature is different from socialization. And it is, but humaness depends on it and the freedom of choice. You want to claim to change and educate all people into and idea and supress their nature and that's fine but if you believe that education will turn all people "good" then the system doesn't matter. All systems will work when all people are "good". You can't claim nature vs socialization argument when it has, in fact, been debunked and that an in-group preference is a measure. You don't know about the psychology of a hierarchy. Or maybe, in your case, you think it can be subverted by "education".
