I've ordered a baofeng uv5r and downloaded the pdf from one of the file shares here. 530 pages and a bunch of studying but I'm moving on it.

I think the package i ordered comes with several accessories, including the cable and extended battery, but I'll have to check.

Confirmed. Should be delivered in the next few days. I'm guessing chirp would be a computer based program, not something for a mobile device or tablet?

I've been kind of out of it for a few days, taking care of some home situations, not keeping up as i should with news on here. I'll try to catch up this evening.
