I just joined and i am curious to the idea of a flat earth

i believe the earth is round, but I wish to research the rationale behind the flat earth belief\

I myself can disprove several of the baseline ideas behind it but im curious to see if theres something in the woodwork i cant

not the political reasoning, but the physical

things like why they can understand the concept of other planets being round, but not our own

seasons, the ice wall, day and night and so on\

is there anyone here willing to have a discussion and attempt to change my mind

@California Nightmare 2.0 The earth is a massive ball of matter, formed because in a vacuum matter is drawn to other matter. as a ball of matter increases, it will draw more matter to it, establishing what is called gravity, this is how a spherical earth exists, and is how gasses (a form of matter) is drawn to it out of the vacuum of space, which is precisely why the vacuum exists. its because the matter not in space is drawn to and being held to other masses of matter with the force that is gravity

the average human does not have access to a perfect setting that would demonstrate this, while i understand no one can truly trust anyone but themselves, there is no way to prove this without that access which is why we turn to people with the means to do so

ive noticed that the immediate reaction to the concept of gravity is "pRoVe" but every thing that exists is proof. the fact that things have weight is proof in itself

@SiliconBassist what im saying is gravity is the term used to describe the force that is mass to mass attraction, which cannot be disproven in any regard

flat earthers ive heard believe planets we can see like mars are round but not ours. why?

why cant mass to mass attraction be applied to the atmosphere

okay lets establish: why is the earth any different from mars on the planetary level

i feel like i need to straighten out some pre-conceived notions i have on the flat-earth belief
