At any rate, can you even blame the people? HH has a dedicated fanbase that loves the site because of how passionate the creator/owner of it was. To have the site stripped by rather scummy means is obviously going to send them into a frenzy looking for answers and retribution.

Just because Fakku owns the site now doesn't mean they take the respect of the community with it. That respect has to be earned and they've pretty much killed that.

I will laugh if PapaHH goes to help H.Anime. It will be the biggest FU to Fakku, in my opinion

@The burning man Look, as a person who owns a community website myself, if I had the community base as HH has, built a relationship with said community to the point that they would stick with me through the tough time, only to have said community site stripped from me and had to inform my community some way before being silenced.

Now the community have to live with the fact that the site and host they loved is now ran by a entity that they hardly trust and their said loved site is now taken from the owner in the manner it was taken, how do you not see how said community would be up in arms about it?

If there is no contract of any kind, then there is nothing PapaHH can do. As scummy as it is, it is what it is. Truth be told, I'll never give up the keys to my site to anyone unless I got it in documentation

Look, Fakku has their own streaming service on their site. Why do they need HentaiHaven? They want it for the brand and with it comes the community. Get it now?

@PeePeeStorm FKU doesn't need the HH site since they do their own streaming on their site but they need the brand that comes with a huge community to try and drive more to their service which in turns means more money for them but it's probably not going to work out the way they plan.

@Vanilla All in all, the ball is in FKU's court now. Depending on what they say about the matter will determine if the people will abandon ship or not (most likely they will)

Overall, Hanime is better than HH if you're looking at it a social aspect sort of way.

It's counter-productive to them to have two streaming sites. They stream hentai on Fakku and they have HentaiHaven now. The only reason they'll keep HentaiHaven up is to bait people on the brand name. If not, they could shut it down if it doesn't turn them a profit

At any rate, my whole take on this is that the official "statement" comes out shallow as hell and doesn't dispel any of the community concerns nor accusations made by PapaHH. Nothing was settled and nothing was answered.
