i dont understand how people can try to force people to believe not provable stuff

I mean it goes in all directions. atheists trying to convince religious people and vice versa seems like there isnt going to be a consensus.

i would also say that its dangerous to say that every mindset a teenager has is one theyll outgrow.

being hit enough could also make one believe in god less, since why would god allow them to get beaten every day?

i mean, for me i believe in a more holistic view of god, but its more like the fabric of reality is god, and everything, including us, is a part of it

im not saying that hes in contact. what im saying is that him not being in your life still influences you. his absence impacts you

i feel like the only thing it might do is paint a target, but thats about it

its easier to tune someone out if they fit a stereotype, and the 'daddy issues' one is pretty prominent these days

so the downside is people may not give what you say as much seriousness i suppose
