My crime was I was employed by the CDC as an epidemiologist. A subset of my investigative work was the laboratory oversite of private/ city/county/state/fed labs. Yet another subset were the jails and prisons within certain goegraphic boundaries. So I did routine infirmary site visits as well as inmate interviews on specific cases.

I did my time.

@Notsoperfect I've had guns and knives pulled on me several times on the streets and in the projects......like to not remember those times and thank God I was able to get past that part of my life. I was young and immortal......and not married w/ a family...life changes.

@Notsoperfect, I don't even tell my wife and family about many of situations I've encountered, people know people are bad and sometimes that is all they need to know. @TuscaroraWarrior will vouch on this....sometimes u only talk to your peers. @TuscaroraWarrior my uncle/now cousins are cattle breeders. I remember when I was in H.S. kids come out to farm and figure they'd shot a couple dumb cows. it was big news they got 3 that were prize bulls valued around $350K. Just tragic.

obviously not thinking but kids do stupid things. don't know the difference... The just figure is captive hunting like in a preserve..sheeeesh.

@TuscaroraWarrior I don't know if the kids were actually caught, I just remember the insurance settlement AND that one of the bulls was partly owned by or leased to John Wayne. Yes, @CHARLES PELKEY these are definitely insured but I have no clue the rate of reimbursement...as a rule insurances never make you whole.
